Our Experience Living With A Disabled Person

There are certain items which are fixtures like the through lifts in Blue Tit and Kingfisher cottages, the stairlifts in Robin and Wren and the ceiling hoists in the bathrooms of Kingfisher and Wren. Other specialist equipment that we can provide is listed below: 

Reliant 250 Mobile Hoist and Portable bed sides – metal 
 

Toileting and Universal Hammock slings – small, medium and large for use with the hoists

Toilet surround – height adjustable

Toilet seat raisers for 2, 4, or 6 inch height.

Shower / commode chair self propelling with padded seat 

Shower / commode chair which fits over the toilet

Shower / commode chair self propelling and adjustable mobile grab rails  

Neptune bath chair and adjustable mobile grab rails

Elephant Feet’ for raising the bed height – 3 or 6 inches.

Monkey Pole for over bed

However, we do ask guests to book any equipment they may require at the same time as they book their accommodation to ensure availability when they come to stay.
