Located close to Bowes village and ideally positioned for walkers, wildlife lovers, photographers, cyclists, and dark-sky enthusiasts, Robin Cottage offers a peaceful and comfortable retreat for one or two guests. With 1-night stays available, it’s perfectly suited as an overnight stop for those walking the Pennine Way, the Roof of England walk, or exploring the surrounding fells and moorland.
Inside, the cottage features a good-sized sitting and dining area alongside a fully equipped open-plan kitchen, creating a relaxed space to cook, eat, and unwind after a full day outdoors. For guests arriving late or preferring not to cook, a microwave or oven-ready meal can be provided on request, and our welcome pack ensures you can enjoy a simple breakfast before an early start the next morning.
Upstairs, the bedroom can be arranged as either a double or twin, depending on your preference, and includes a fully equipped en-suite bathroom with over-bath shower, WC, and hand basin — ideal for a hot shower after a long day on the trail.
Guests also have access to laundry facilities, making it easy to refresh walking clothes overnight, and cyclists can make use of a secure bike storage area. With very low light pollution, the area is renowned for its dark skies, making Robin Cottage a wonderful place to relax into the evening and enjoy the stars.
