1. Number of Persons:
The number of persons using any Cottage at Mellwaters Barn Cottages is not to exceed the maximum number stated in the description for the cottage.
2. Cancellation:
In the case of cancellation you must contact us in writing at your earliest opportunity.
Cancellation period:
If cancelled more than 28 days before arrival there is no charge.
If cancelled less than 28 to 7 days before arrival a charge of 50% of total value of booking.
If cancelled less than 7 days prior to arrival a charge for the full value of the booking is made.
3. Arrivals and Departures:
Guests are requested to give prior notice of their anticipated arrival time but it should not be before 16.00 hours on the day of arrival and to vacate the cottage by 10.00 hours on the day of departure.
4. Access:
The owner of Mellwaters Barn Cottages or his representative has the right to access the cottage at any reasonable time during any holiday occupancy.
5. Damages:
Any damages, breakages or mal-function of equipment must be reported to us at the earliest opportunity to enable us to rectify the situation. We reserve the right to make a charge for any serious damage.
6. Smoking:
All cottages are strictly non smoking.
7. Cottages:
Please leave your cottage in the same condition as you found it. If the cottage is left in an unsatisfactory condition we reserve the right to make an additional charge.

Complaints:
Whilst Mellwaters Barn Cottages tries to do everything possible to give you a successful and enjoyable holiday sometimes things can go wrong. Please report any dissatisfaction to the owner of Mellwaters Barn Cottages or his representative immediately in order that matters can be rectified.
9. Living on a Farm:
Mellwaters Barn Cottages are in the heart of the countryside, and we often work from early morning until late evening. This can add to your holiday experience so do remember to make allowances for the country noises and aromas!
10. Dogs:
We are happy to welcome you and your dog/s in Blue Tit (maximum 2 dogs) and Wren Cottages (maximum 1 dog), but unfortunately we do not allow them in Kingfisher or Robin Cottages. Please see Dog Policy for more information.
11. Data Protection Policy:
In order to process your booking and to ensure that your holiday arrangements run smoothly and meet your requirements, we need to use the information you provide such as name, address and special requirements etc.
Mellwaters Barn Cottages take full responsibility for ensuring proper security measures are in place to meet and to protect your information. The information may also be provided to security or credit checking companies, public authorities such as customs / immigration if required by them or as required by law.
We will not however, pass any information onto any person not responsible for part of your accommodation arrangements. This applies to any sensitive information that you give us such as details of any disabilities and any requirements pertaining to your needs.
